This highly refined popular black stallion fascinates everyone in breeding and sport. With numerous first places in advanced level dressage including Intermedaire I - free style with a score of 80.35 %, Dionysos was one of the most successful seven year old dressage stallions in Germany in 2004. His impressive talent for collection and his excellent canter, piaff and passage movements give him all the options for a great career in dressage. Dionysos's permanent rider is Karin Rehbein who achived huge success with Donnerhall.
Dionysos' first crop of foals received outstanding scores - 65% with a 9 for type and 80% with an 8 or better for movement. More than every second foal received a premium and 13 have qualified for the State Championships, where one became the Reserve Champion. In 2004 his first son was licensed - Diodore - and in the same year one of his daughters became the Reserve Champion mare at the Swedish National Broodmare Show. His off-spring are noble with long legs, beautiful faces and good movements that show a clear up and out tendency with excellent carriage.
